The Jacksonville Jaguars took a step back in 2024, but the foundation remains in place for a strong rebound in 2025 and beyond. Led by franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence, the team has a mix of young pass-catchers and a versatile backfield. Dynasty managers should view Jacksonville as a retooling offense with several long-term building blocks — and a few potential buy-low opportunities.

Trevor Lawrence: The Post-Hype Dynasty Value
After a disappointing 2024 campaign, Trevor Lawrence enters 2025 with something to prove. He’s flashed elite talent in spurts, but inconsistency — both his own and the offense around him — has led to underwhelming fantasy output.
2024–2025 Fantasy Production: Lawrence threw for 2,045 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions, adding 119 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground. He finished outside the top-20 QBs in most formats, never finishing higher than QB6. It was a nightmare and lost season for Trevor, who was expected to build upon a solid 2023.
Dynasty Value: Lawrence turns just 26 this year and is still one of the most physically gifted passers in the league. He remains a long-term QB1 with upside, and his value is currently depressed, making him a smart trade target for dynasty managers who can be patient. A make-or-break year is coming in 2025.
Travis Etienne Jr.: The Versatile RB with Volume Concerns
Travis Etienne remains one of the most explosive backs in the league, but 2024 raised some questions about workload management and the emergence of Tank Bigsby as a complementary piece.
2024–2025 Fantasy Production: Etienne posted just 558 scrimmage yards and 2 total touchdowns. He remained involved in the passing game (39 receptions), but saw more rotational use in the red zone and short-yardage situations than expected.
Dynasty Value: Etienne just turned 26 and should still have a few more productive years ahead of him, but he may no longer be a workhorse. He profiles as a mid-range RB2 with upside in PPR formats, as he is a much better pass-catcher than Bigsby, and with a new coaching regime, could rebound to his previous statistical levels. He’s a hold or sell-high depending on your team’s window of contention, and an argument could also be made for him being a "buy-low".
Brian Thomas Jr.: The Big-Play 2nd Year Wideout
The Jaguars selected LSU standout Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft to replace Calvin Ridley. He brings size, speed, and vertical ability to a receiving corps in need of a true alpha, and in his 1st year was exactly that and more.
2024–2025 Fantasy Production: As a rookie, Thomas was simply amazing. Selected 23rd overall, he came out of the gate strong and only got better as the season went along, finishing with 87 receptions for over 1200 yards and 10 TDs. He quickly became the team's alpha at WR, and should only continue his success in 2025.
Dynasty Value: After a strong rookie campaign in 2024, Thomas has firmly cemented himself as a rising dynasty asset. He now profiles as a WR1 with legitimate superstar upside, as no matter who is at QB (he had Mac Jones under center for most of the year), he still put up monster numbers. His value has surged, but he’s still a worthy buy for competitive and rebuilding teams alike.
The Jaguars’ dynasty outlook is about untapped potential. Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne are proven talents whose ceiling remains higher than what we’ve seen. Brian Thomas Jr. is the spark that brings it all together.
Honorable Mentions:
- Travis Hunter: The team's 1st-round pick and 2nd overall selection could be the league's first two-way player since Deion Sanders, and if he sticks at WR, should pair with Thomas for a lethal offensive duo.
- Tank Bigsby: A high-value handcuff with standalone goal-line usage. Dynasty stash for Etienne managers.
- Bhaysul Tuten: The rookie was one of the first picks taken by the new coaching regime, and many evaluators laud him for his talents at RB. He may be the starter in this backfield by the end of the year.
