Founder and CEO: Leonard LaPadula

Leonard graduated with High Honors from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 3 years with bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Leonard worked for Texas Instruments from 1983 to 1993 where he designed the first GPS chip and was awarded three related patents.
 
From 1993 to 1996, Leonard worked for Lockheed Martin automating the flow of integrated circuit design. In 1996, Leonard won the Best Paper Award for his paper titled Auto-Synthesis at the Synopsys User’s Group conference.
 
From 1996 to 2011, Leonard worked for Synopsys, a company specializing in automation software for integrated circuit design used in devices such as cell phones, computers and televisions. Leonard worked in Japan for three years selling and managing multinational consulting services to Japanese semiconductor corporations. Leonard most recently architected and implemented key technology for integrating, testing and packaging multi-product design flows.

Edward S. McKersie, CPC, Founder and President of Pro Search, Inc. and Pro Searcher since 1994!  Ed has been in the employment services industry since 1985. Prior to establishing Pro Search, Inc. in 1994, Ed was Director of Search Services for the corporate offices of a national employment services firm, responsible for recruiting, hiring and training search consultants for the company's 35 office network. Ed holds a B.S. in Economics/Finance from Bentley College and has been a featured speaker and trainer at human resources and recruiting/staffing industry events. He serves on the Board of NNEAPS, the Northern New England Association of Personnel Services.  Ed is Chair of the University of Southern Maine Advisory Committee, is Past Chair of USM Corporate Partners and serves on the USM Board of Visitors and the USM Foundation Board. He was one of the founding members of the Best Places to Work in Maine Planning Committee Ed is also Board Chair of the Maine Center of Enterprise Development, Maine's premier business incubator and serves on several Boards of private companies in Maine and NH and as an Advisory Board Member to several Pro Search client firms.

Corporate Financial Advisor: Roger J. Sutherland

Roger has almost 20 years of experience in successfully facing the challenges of being a CFO or CEO. After serving in the US Army and graduating from Hofstra University with a BBA, Roger worked as a CPA in Auditing for 10 years in one of the big six accounting firms and then over 10 years as CFO in the defense and aero space industry for major divisions of first Sperry Corp. and then Sequa Corp. He then served 5 years as CFO and 4 years as CEO of Kollsman, Inc. - a design, developer, and manufacturer of products for the defense, avionics, and medical instrument market, both domestic and international.
 
During his 15-year career as a CFO, Roger also successfully led several merger and acquisition teams and as President and CEO of Kollsman, Inc., the company’s business grew from $80 million to $150 million in under 4 years.
For the last several years, Roger has been providing business development and financial consulting services to small and large domestic and international companies.

VP of Business Development: John Bennice

John graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and emphasis on energy systems. John is a polished and sought-after leader of international business development in emerging electronic design automation (EDA) companies.

 
John's career includes a two year assignment in Japan for the leader in EDA where he grew business 28% during tough economic times and managed a sales team of 18 for the Big 3 Japanese Accounts. In smaller companies, John has built sales teams and infrastructure from the ground up and John' experience includes Asia, Israel, Europe and the U.S.

 

Mulithreading & Hardware Acceleration Engineering: Xinming Huang

Xinming Huang received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, in  2001. Previously, he was a Member of Technical Staff at Wireless Advanced Technology Laboratory, Bell labs of Lucent Technologies, Whippany, NJ, from 2001 to 2003, and an Assistant professor at University of New Orleans, LA from 2003 to 2006.

Since fall 2006, he has been a faculty with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at WPI, Worcester, MA.


 

Application Consultant: Rob Freeman

Rob is an experienced and savvy fantasy football enthusiast and has been playing in multiple leagues for about 30 years. Rob has experience with many of the competitor’s products and has been instrumental since inception in helping to define a product from the viewpoint of the average fantasy football player.
 
Rob, through his self-taught skills in Visual Basic also was involved with initial coding of the 2009 prototype version and has played a key role in defining the function of the user interfaces of our debut product. Rob also manages a high tech, CNC machining department and is an accomplished toolmaker.
